The Licensed Clinical Social Worker coordinates and implements appropriate treatment methods for patients within the behavioral health program, including conducting pre-surgical evaluations and providing individual therapy. Duties also involve monitoring intervention effectiveness, performing crisis counseling and suicide risk assessments, and ensuring appropriate documentation in patient charts.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in social work and hold a required License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Preferred experience is a minimum of one or more years, and the role requires adherence to strict safety, confidentiality, and professional standards within a medical office setting.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for coordinating and implementing appropriate methods of treatment to patients in the behavioral health program.
INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: · Greets patients and introduces self. · Presents a professional image and customer focus. · Verifies patient information, medical history, medications, and confirms purpose of visit. · Conducts pre-surgical evaluations and diagnosis as required for surgical implant procedures · Provides assessment, diagnosis and individual therapy treatment to patients in the behavioral health program. · Monitors the effectiveness of interventions. · Performs routine and crisis counseling/interventions, and suicide risk assessments as needed. · Provides referrals for services as needed. · Responsible for the content of education and counseling programs for patients. · Responsible for appropriate documentation of information in patients' charts (EMR/EHR). · Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records. · Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. · Practices safe habits including but not limited to infection control, lifting procedures, etc. · Practices teamwork by helping others willingly and communicating in a professional manner · Coordinates with clinical and other staff members in the provision of services to patients. · Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities · Serves and protects the practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements. · Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. · Operates standard office equipment · Adheres to Advanced Pain Care’s Policies and procedures · Has regular and predictable attendance · Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION Directly reports to Chief Clinical Officer and works collaboratively with Department Directors to establish protocols and maintain program initiatives and integrity. Has indirect supervision from physicians and mid-level providers.
Master’s degree in social work; License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
