Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Care Physician to join our Advanced Wound Care team.
This full-time, hospital-employed position offers the opportunity to provide specialized care in an outpatient clinic setting, with inpatient rounding responsibilities.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no call responsibilities, offering an excellent work-life balance.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with a NYS License.

Core job responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with chronic, non-healing wounds in an outpatient wound care center
Conduct inpatient consultations and rounding as needed
Utilize advanced wound care modalities including; debridement, HBO therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, skin substitutes, etc.
Collaborate with staff, interdisciplinary specialists and affiliated medical services
Wound care operative procedure experience is a plus

Education/Experience requirements
Required
Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) and successful completion of a residency and internship.
Experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified, which may include residency in a directly related medical specialty.
Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise.
Ability to supervise, advise, and train clinical professionals and/or students in area of expertise.
Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage.
Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops.
