Key duties involve triaging incoming patients, managing client interactions, and partnering with DVMs on patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures, including catheter placement. The role also requires obtaining and processing laboratory samples and utilizing various radiology imaging modalities for patient evaluation.
Candidates must have effective verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to maintain composure in a demanding environment. Minimum qualifications include 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician in a general practice or 1 year in a specialty practice.
