The role involves examining, evaluating, assessing, and interpreting clinical data to provide care for patients dealing with podiatric concerns and complex wound management. Providers will also act as a liaison between patients and physicians to coordinate recommended patient care, including pre- and post-operative support.
Candidates must possess a Master of Science degree or higher, having completed a Nurse Practitioner Program or obtained Physician Assistant Certification. Current registration with the Idaho Board of Nursing and certification as an NP or PA are mandatory, with experience in Orthopedics and Neuro being advantageous.

General Summary of Position The NP or Physician’s Assistant role includes examination, evaluation, assessment and interpretation of clinical data to provide care for patients with podiatric concerns and complex wound management. Professional practice is in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team. A background in Orthopedic Medicine or Sports Medicine is ideal.
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting max. of 20 lbs.
