The role involves assisting patients before and after care provided by the Doctor of Chiropractic, including taking vital signs and performing physical therapy modalities as directed. Responsibilities also include accurately documenting patient progress, maintaining room cleanliness, monitoring equipment, managing supplies, and assisting with general office tasks.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is the minimum educational requirement, along with state certification or enrollment in a course leading to certification within one year. Candidates should ideally have one year of experience in a physical therapy or chiropractic office and maintain current CPR and/or First Aid certification.

This position must cross train between the Patient Representative and Chiropractic Assistant roles in our Elkton, MD office. ***
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching above shoulder length, working with body bent over at waist, working in kneeling position, crawling, climbing stairs, climbing ladders, working with arms extended at shoulder length, lifting maximum of 20 lbs.
