The Direct Support Professional will empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing coaching and guidance to help them achieve personal independence goals within a supportive community home. Responsibilities also include assisting with daily activities, community outings, personal care needs, and ensuring a safe, clean home environment.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record (no more than 3 points), and must pass required PA clearances (Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI fingerprinting). No prior experience is necessary as comprehensive training is provided.
