The technologist will assist physicians in various cardiac and peripheral procedures within the Cath Lab and Hybrid OR, requiring independent provision of excellent patient care pre, during, and post-procedure. Responsibilities include maintaining and operating specialized lab equipment, ensuring sterile techniques, and managing necessary supplies and data collection.
Candidates must possess an associate degree or higher in a clinical or scientific field, along with clinical registration or licensure as an RCIS, RN, RRT, RT, or licensed Paramedic. A minimum of three years of Cath Lab experience is required, alongside current BLS and ACLS certifications.
We are seeking a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist that will assist physicians in the tasks and responsibilities necessary in the performance of cardiac catheterization, peripheral angiography, peripheral intervention, coronary intervention, and rhythm management procedures. Independently provide excellent patient care pre, during, and post procedure with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will work in our Cath Lab.
An associate degree or higher in a clinical or scientific field and clinical registration or licensure as one of: RCIS, RN, RRT, RT or licensed Paramedic.
A minimum of three years Cath lab experience and current BLS & ACLS Certification.
The individual must have excellent organizational skills, outstanding attention-to-detail, be highly dependable, and have sound interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have experience working within a fast-paced and progressive environment performing Cath, PCI, PVI and EP device procedures.
Experience using Philips imaging and hemo-dynamic systems.
