Key duties include preparing patients for the doctor, performing procedures like cleaning and fluoride application, taking and developing digital radiographs, and assisting the dentist during treatment. The role also involves patient education, scheduling follow-ups, maintaining sterilization protocols, and managing lab work and supplies.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited dental assisting program, with a Coronal Polishing Certificate being a plus. Essential qualities include being a great communicator, thriving in a busy team environment, and showing eagerness to provide extraordinary patient care.
