The core responsibilities involve functioning as an Occupational Therapy Assistant within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. This role requires direct patient treatment involving significant walking or standing.
Candidates must have completed an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and maintain current AOTA certification along with South Carolina state certification. Two years of experience is preferred for this role.

Certification is maintained by the AOTA. A person who meets the requirements for certifications as an Occupational Therapy Assistant established by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Current SC Certification
1. Physical Requirement/Working Conditions
Walking or standing a significant amount of time. Must be able to treat patients at the patient's home. External applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled, must be able to perform the essential functions, either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
