Medical Assistants are responsible for interviewing patients, recording medical history, confirming the purpose of the visit, and assisting clinicians with patient care, including taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations. They also perform various tests like EKGs, collect samples, and ensure all procedure results are accurately documented in medical records.
Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and fluent in both spoken and written English, with completion of a medical assistant program and current CPR certification required. Performing specific clinical tasks like EKG, ear irrigations, and various testing procedures is mandatory.
