The role involves implementing the nursing process by executing physician orders for diet, medication, and treatment while adhering to facility standards of care. Responsibilities also include performing patient assessments, documenting interventions, instructing patients and families on care plans, and responding to emergencies.
Candidates must possess a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State of Ohio, along with current CPR certification. LPNs require Ohio Board of Nursing Certification in Intravenous Therapy, and one year of pertinent clinical experience is preferred, otherwise competency-based orientation must be completed.
