The role involves performing routine laboratory analysis and conducting quality control testing in strict adherence to established laboratory policies and procedures. Additionally, the technologist or technician will assist in the training of both students and new employees.
Candidates must be graduates of an approved Medical Technology school (MT) or an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program. Certification by ASCP or eligibility for certification is required for the MT role.
MT - Graduate of an approved school of Medical Technology. Certified by ASCP or equivalent or eligible for certification.
MLT - Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program.
