The Technologist I will be responsible for processing and analyzing patient samples, monitoring quality control, ensuring proper instrument maintenance, and accurately entering patient results within their assigned department. Essential duties include performing technical procedures according to SOPs, demonstrating proficiency in QC evaluation, and communicating sample issues effectively.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a Biological or Chemical Science, or hold a Medical Technology degree or MLT Certification, with no prior experience required, though clinical experience is preferred. Successful applicants need to be excellent problem solvers, detail-oriented, self-motivated team players capable of learning the laboratory information system.
Work Hours: 2:00-10:00 Wednesday-Sunday/Tuesday-Saturday
8:00am -4:00pm Monday - Friday

This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a Biological or Chemical Science from an accredited institution, a degree in Medical Technology or a MLT Certification. The employee must be able to work in an environment containing biohazards, toxic chemicals, pungent odors, corrosive acids, noise, sharp objects, and other normal hazards found in the clinical laboratory. Laboratory safety measures are in place and protective equipment provided to help minimize possible exposure to these environmental risks.
