The MRI Technologist/Technician performs quality magnetic resonance imaging scans on patients of all ages under the direct supervision of a radiologist. Key duties include interviewing patients, positioning them for scans, accurately entering data, and ensuring patient safety and image quality.
Candidates must have graduated from an MRI program at the associate's (Technician) or bachelor's (Technologist) degree level and possess one year of current clinical MRI experience. Required credentials include state-specific licensure/registration, ARRT registration, and current CPR certification.
JOB SUMMARY The MRI TECHNOLOGIST/TECHNICIAN, under the direct supervision of a radiologist, performs quality magnetic resonance imaging scans on patients of all ages.

Graduate of an MRI program of study at the associate’s degree level.
Graduate of an MRI program of study at the bachelor’s degree level.
State specific; current and unrestricted license or registration to practice as an MRI technologist/technician in the state of practice, as applicable. ARRT registration.
One year of current MRI technologist/technician experience in the clinical setting.
Current CPR at least; and other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.
Various client facility settings; possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
