The physician will provide medical direction for clinic health care activities, consultation, and supervision for health care staff while delivering primary health care services focused on wellness and health promotion. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating conditions in clinic and hospital settings, ordering tests, managing treatments, and collaborating with specialists and APPs.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be Board Certified or Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, along with a valid Michigan medical license. Essential qualities include excellent clinical judgment, adaptability, strong communication skills, and a commitment to compassionate, community-focused care.
Education: Must be licensed to practice medicine in the state of Michigan. Must be Board certified or Board eligible.
Must be able to read, speak and write English. Strong Communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Good computer and electronic record skills.
Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan.
Certification: CPR/ACLS
Must be able to move about the practice/department and between workstations; and prolonged periods of standing.
