The Occupational Therapy Assistant will work under supervision to provide therapy services aimed at helping patients achieve maximum independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting in evaluations, implementing treatment plans, guiding residents through exercises, teaching adaptive equipment use, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program and hold state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Required attributes include experience in a skilled nursing facility, excellent communication skills, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and a strong problem-solving approach.
