The Ophthalmic Technician will support physicians by preparing patients, performing routine vision screening examinations, and administering eye medications. Essential functions also include conducting advanced diagnostic tests like OCT and assisting during minor surgical and laser procedures.
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician Assistant or specialized ophthalmic experience. Candidates must possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, and be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will play a vital role as an assistant to our physicians. You will be cross trained to perform a range of administrative and clinical duties. These duties include preparing the patient to see the physician, preparing examination rooms, performing basic and routine vision screening examinations, administering eye medications, cleaning, and maintaining ophthalmic instruments and assisting physicians during minor surgical and laser procedures.
• Rotating Schedule Mon-Fri, with some weekends.
• $24.50/hr
