The Senior Ophthalmic Technician supports physicians by managing patient flow, performing clinical intake, conducting comprehensive pre-examination testing, and handling administrative tasks like phone triage. Responsibilities also include accurately scribing clinical encounters, administering prescribed ocular medications, and ensuring efficient room and equipment maintenance.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years of experience as an Ophthalmic Technician, along with strong customer service and organizational skills. Preferred qualifications include Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC) or active enrollment, and Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification or active enrollment.

The Senior Ophthalmic Technician will play a vital role in supporting physicians in the delivery of high-quality eye care. Supports efficient clinic operations by managing patient flow, coordinating administrative tasks, and performing phone triage under physician guidance. Contributes to the overall effectiveness of the office through both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
