What You Will Do (Job Summary)

• Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport.
• Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment.
• Assists during patient examinations and procedures.
• Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations.
• Communicates with patients regarding pre-op instructions and assists RNs as needed.
• Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.
• Perform pre-admission functions including, calling patients prior to surgery to review medical and medication history, review for appropriate lab, x-ray, EKG orders, and collect patient paperwork.

Monday-Friday daytime work schedule

NO call required

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours
