The Ultrasound Technologist will perform a wide range of sonographic procedures, including general and vascular studies, for patients across all age groups to support timely diagnoses. Responsibilities include applying advanced principles of ultrasound imaging, operating and maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and respectful patient experience.
Candidates must have specialized training in ultrasound, graduating from an accredited program, and must be preparing for or obtain ARRT or ARDMS certification in ultrasound within two years of hire, along with current BLS certification. Essential knowledge includes comprehensive anatomy, ultrasound physics, and strong skills in image evaluation and patient safety.
As needed positions are not eligible for benefits and have a set rate of pay. If you work evenings, nights or weekends, you may be eligible for shift differential.
