The therapist develops assessments and treatment plans to stabilize clients experiencing mental health dysfunction impairing their ability to integrate into the community or maintain stability. Duties include providing therapeutic services to individuals, families, or groups using various intervention techniques and coordinating clinical interventions with team members.
Candidates must possess an MA/MS degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or a related field, along with a valid driver's license, and preferably 1-2 years of related experience. Licensure as LCSW or LCPC or eligibility for these is required, alongside proficiency in standard office software and strong crisis de-escalation and communication skills.
Under the assigned supervisor, works to alleviate or stabilize mental health dysfunction of selected clients, which impairs their ability to adjust to home, community integration, or maintain living stability; provides therapeutic services to individuals, families or groups regarding psychological or emotional problems such as therapeutic settings by performing the following duties; develops assessment and treatment planning for clients and may oversee the coordination of clinical interventions of team members.
• MA/MS degree in Social Work, psychology, counseling, or related field, licensure completed
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred
• LCSW or LCPC or LCSW/LCPC Eligible
• Valid driver’s license

The employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk; or hear. He/she may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee is also exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
