The Psychotherapist will manage their own patient panel, provide intakes for new patients, and offer individual, couples, and group counseling along with mental health triage. Responsibilities also include conducting two psychiatric assessments daily and collaborating with peer therapists across the organization for efficient service delivery.
Applicants must possess an advanced degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy and be licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Maine. Candidates should be skilled in various counseling modalities, including solution-focused and long-term therapy, and comfortable working with diverse populations across the lifespan.
Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a psychotherapist to work in and support our growing Behavioral Health Connection service, based at PCHC’s Brewer Medical Center. Care for your own patient panel and partner with care teams across the PCHC organization providing intakes for new patients. The Behavioral Health Connection (BHC) Therapist supports PCHC’s mission by promoting timely access to care for the whole person, continuity of care, and the enhancement of well-being for everyone, regardless of life circumstance.
LCSW, LCPC, LMFT and Conditionally licensed providers are encouraged to apply. Advanced degree in MH Counseling, Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy required. Must be licensed or eligible for licensing in the state of Maine to provide mental health counseling.
