Salary
$30 - $40 / HOUR
include preparing patients for radiologic procedures, explaining procedures, and protecting patients from unnecessary radiation exposure while taking x-rays according to safety procedures. The role also involves documenting patient care, managing outside imaging imports, scanning documents into the EMR, and maintaining quality control logs and equipment.
Candidates need 1 to 2 years of radiology experience, preferably in orthopedics or a hospital setting, and must have completed an approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program. Required credentials include certification by the ARRT and an Arizona State Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners license, along with current CPR certification.
