The Physician Assistant will maintain the physician's patient treatment schedule, obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, interpret data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and administer injections and medications. Responsibilities also include advising patients, assisting physicians with recording progress, triaging phone calls, and providing on-call services as assigned.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, maintaining an active Arizona State License and CPR certification. Preferred qualification includes two years of Physician Assistant experience in a busy orthopedic practice.
