The Physician Assistant will maintain the physician's patient treatment schedule, obtain medical histories, perform physical exams, interpret data to determine diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and administer injections and medications. Responsibilities also include issuing diagnostic orders, triaging phone calls, and providing continuity of care between visits, including on-call services.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and maintain certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, along with an active Arizona State License and current CPR certification. Preferred qualifications include two years of Physician Assistant experience in a busy orthopedic practice.
