The OR Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, executing, directing, and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care for surgical patients, ensuring continuity of care throughout the surgical experience. Key duties include supervising patient care in the operating room, performing circulating duties, assisting surgical teams, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring accurate counts of supplies and instruments.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's degree in nursing required, and possess a current professional nursing license in Pennsylvania. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS required or obtainable within one year, and previous OR experience is highly preferred.

In accordance with the philosophy and goals of OSS Health, and within the scope of the Pennsylvania Nurse Practice Act, the OR Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. The OR RN is responsible for planning, executing, directing, and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical patient. The OR RN will assist in meeting the surgical patient's needs by utilizing the nursing process and ensuring continuity of care during the surgical experience.
Full Time, 4 - 10hr shifts a week, rotating Saturdays.
