Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Clinical Services

CorrectHealth currently has an exciting full-time opportunity to join our growing team as a Clinical Services (LPN) in the state of Louisiana!

Position will require travel to various clinical sites in Louisiana . Position may include Daily Travel and the flexibility to adjust schedule according to staffing needs.

Job Summary

• The Clinical Support LPN is responsible for providing staffing coverage as needed to multiple CH facilities throughout Georgia and surrounding states.
• The Clinical Support LPN also supports the Clinical Services Department through activities involving staff education, site accreditation, program & site continuous quality improvement, site transition, and other areas within the Clinical Services Department as needed.
• Duties are operationally directed with an emphasis on appropriate resource utilization and performance standards as established by NCCHC, ACA and other accrediting bodies.
• Provides staffing coverage as needed.
• Travel throughout Louisiana required .

Qualifications

• Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing.
• Holds and maintains a current license to practice as a LPN in the state of employment.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• 3-5 years LPN experience required with at least 1 year of correctional experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of the NCCHC, ACA, and state standards of health care in the correctional environment required.
• Strong communication, training, and leadership skills required.
