Pharmacists evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, including dosage and potential interactions, and make therapy change recommendations. They maintain detailed patient databases, ensure necessary laboratory tests are ordered and evaluated, and collaborate with the healthcare team for clinical support.
Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and a current state license to practice, along with knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations. A Pharm D and one year of experience in specialty pharmacy are desired.
Work Experience • Desired: One year experience in specialty pharmacy preferred
