The Intake Pharmacy Technician creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner received from electronic prescription and fax queues, while also requesting refill prescriptions as appropriate. This role involves managing incoming documents from the fax server in a high-volume setting.
Candidates must be a licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by state law, possessing at least one year of pharmacy technician experience and knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals. Essential qualifications include good interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, organizational skills, and the capacity to perform data input accurately and efficiently.
• Required: High School Diploma or GED, licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, Previous Experience in Pharmacy
