Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or VMD degree from an accredited institution. A valid veterinary license in the state of New York is required.
West Side Pet Clinic is seeking a Part Time Associate Veterinarian to provide high quality preventative and outpatient care for cats and dogs.
Due to continued client growth and increasing demand within the community, we are expanding our doctor team and looking for a veterinarian who enjoys building client relationships, practicing quality medicine, and working collaboratively with a supportive team.
This role is focused exclusively on outpatient medicine with no surgical or dentistry responsibilities. You will spend your time seeing appointments, educating clients, and providing preventative and wellness care in a fast paced but supportive environment.
The clinic focuses on preventative and outpatient care for dogs and cats, including wellness exams, vaccinations, routine screenings, and treatment for common health concerns. The team believes that preventative care and client education help pets live healthier lives while reducing long term medical costs for families. West Side Pet Clinic proudly serves pets and families throughout Buffalo, Erie County, and the surrounding communities.
Pets needing advanced procedures, surgery, hospitalization, or radiology services are referred to sister hospitals Ellicott Street Animal Hospital and North Buffalo Animal Hospital. The clinic is AAHA accredited, placing it among a small percentage of veterinary hospitals nationwide recognized for high standards of care and client service. Services also include puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, nutritional counseling, behavioral guidance, and in house diagnostic testing.
