This role is responsible for delivering resident care through the nursing process, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation, while guiding resident teaching and supervising ancillary staff according to professional nursing standards. Essential functions involve providing safe nursing care, monitoring resident conditions, administering medications accurately, assisting with admissions and discharges, and participating in emergency preparedness and infection control procedures.
Candidates must be a graduate of a licensed practical nursing program and hold current NYS registration/license as a Licensed Practical Nurse, along with current BLS-CPR Certification. Entry-level graduates licensed or holding a permit in New York State are eligible, with a sign-on bonus available based on experience level.
This position is eligible for up to $15,000.00 Sign on Bonus for those that qualify. ($7,500.00 for those with less than one year of experience)
Responsible for the delivery of resident care through the nursing process of planning, implementation, and evaluation. Guides resident teaching and the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. Understands and adheres to GCMC’s Compliance Standards as they appear in GCMC’s Corporate Compliance Policy, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policy. Keeps abreast of all pertinent federal, state and GCMC regulations, laws, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.

Pay Range for this position is $27.00-$39.27/hour Dependent on years of applicable experience
