Caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help clients remain safe and independent, which includes offering companionship and assisting with daily tasks like preparing meals, driving, and housekeeping. Responsibilities also involve assisting with personal care needs such as walking, dressing, and bathing, while recording activities and providing updates on the client's condition.
Applicants must be caring and compassionate individuals who enjoy helping others and are willing to learn new skills to best assist clients. A minimum requirement is 1+ years of professional experience or experience caring for a loved one, along with excellent English communication skills demonstrated by passing a written and oral comprehension exam.
