Home Health Aides provide personal care services to enable clients to safely and comfortably remain in their homes, including assistance with personal tasks like bathing, dressing, eating, and grooming. Duties also encompass companionship, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transfer assistance, transportation to appointments, and medication reminders.
Candidates must have previous professional experience providing personal care services, a valid driver's license or government-issued photo ID, and be at least 18 years old. Applicants are also required to have an active CPR certification from an in-person course and reliable transportation, along with passing a Clear Level 2 Background Screen from the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA).
