The Psychiatric Emergency Clinician II independently conducts evaluations and releases for children, youth, and adults according to 5585/5150 regulations. This role is primarily responsible for engaging and educating members, families, and others regarding crisis stabilization, treatment, level of care determination, and mental health recovery.
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent, along with two years of direct service experience in a behavioral health setting and required licensure (LMFT, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist). Additional requirements include age verification and maintaining current CPR, CPI, and First Aid certifications.

The Psychiatric Emergency Clinician II independently conducts child, youth, and adult 5585/5150 evaluations and releases per 5585/5150 regulations. The Psychiatric Emergency Clinician II is the primary clinician for engaging and educating members served, families, and significant others in crisis stabilization, treatment, level of care determination, and mental health recovery. Serves as a liaison to community programs and develops strategic partnerships to enhance aftercare plans of members served and their families.
Expected starting wage range is $49.49 - $61.13. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
