This role is responsible for identifying the psychosocial and psychiatric needs of patients and families through clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and supportive counseling, while collaborating with the healthcare team and community professionals. The clinician will evaluate patients in the Emergency Department behavioral health area to determine necessary care and coordinate resources to ensure appropriate, cost-effective service delivery.
A Master's degree in social work and a minimum of 2 years of related experience serving children and families are required, along with an active LCSW license. Preferred qualifications include experience in psychiatric assessment, triage, and intake, as well as basic knowledge of medical conditions relevant to specific patient populations.
