The MDS Assistant is responsible for the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and the interdisciplinary care planning process. This role ensures compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements during these processes.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possess two years of professional nursing experience in long-term care, acute care, restorative care, or geriatric nursing. One to three years of experience in MDS completion is preferred.
