The Counselor will lead 2–3 one-hour group therapy sessions daily using a structured, evidence-based curriculum and facilitate discussions based on approved modalities. They will also collaborate with other care team members, monitor member progress, document outcomes, and support a recovery-oriented environment.
Candidates must possess an active clinical license or certification as required by state regulations and have at least two years of experience leading groups in a substance use treatment setting. Proficiency with technology, including EMRs and telehealth platforms, is also necessary.
$55,000–$70,000 annually *based on experience and qualifications.
What You’ll Do Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions per day using a structured, evidence-based curriculum. Facilitate group discussions using a “plug and play” approach from approved modalities to meet members where they are within the guardrails of our clinical framework. Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches. Monitor member progress and document outcomes. Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment for members. Engage in local community outreach to promote Groups’ mission.
Active clinical license or certification based upon state regulations CADC, LPCA, CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LMHC, LPCC-S, LCADC, LISW 2+ years of experience leading groups in a substance use treatment setting. Tech-savvy: comfortable with EMRs, telehealth platforms, and Google Workspace. Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care. Ability to work some evening hours to support member schedules.
