The Licensed Practical Nurse will provide compassionate medical and nursing support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs, including safe medication administration and conducting nursing assessments. Responsibilities also involve educating individuals on their health, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining thorough documentation of all services.
Applicants must possess a current, valid, and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse license in Virginia, along with strong communication and documentation skills. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of mental health and I/DD systems of care and experience with crisis prevention and intervention services.
