The role involves developing and monitoring work activities within the Histology Lab and Morgue. Responsibilities include performing routine histological activities such as receiving, preparing, and processing surgical specimens for patients.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold current HT/HTL Certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). A minimum of one year of experience as a Histology Tech is required, along with passing a Color-Acuity screening Test.

REQUIRED High school diploma or equivalent education (GED) or post-secondary education Current HT/HTL Certification through American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) One (1) year experience as a Histology Tech. All applicants must submit to a Color-Acuity screening Test. PREFERRED Immuno chemistry experience and/or training. Bachelor's degree in science, plus successful completion of a formal histology tech program Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and good written and oral communication skills.
