The surgeon will practice exceptional cardiac surgery within a growing Heart & Vascular program, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in an independent health system. This role involves contributing across the full scope of services and assuming a meaningful role in shaping and stewarding the program’s future.
Candidates must be Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery with a primary focus on adult cardiac surgery and must be eligible for Colorado medical licensure. The ideal candidate should possess the experience and judgment necessary to transition smoothly and contribute actively to community-based practice and program development.

THE OPPORTUNITY Valley View Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a cardiac focus to join our growing Heart & Vascular program. This role offers the rare opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in an independent health system without corporate or private equity ownership.
HEART & VASCULAR PROGRAM Our multidisciplinary team includes interventional and non-invasive cardiology, vascular surgery, cardiac anesthesia, ICU, hospitalists, and experienced cardiovascular nursing and technologists. The program emphasizes collaboration, quality, and keeping advanced care close to home.
