The position involves assisting individuals in acquiring independence skills while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment through direct care, implementing treatment plans, and dispensing medication. Essential functions also include adhering to agency policies, participating in treatment teams, and ensuring appropriate supervision and personal care assistance.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record. Required skills include the ability to write legibly, effective communication, performing physical interventions, and basic computer skills, with medication certification required during the provisional period.
The position is responsible to assist individuals in identifying and/or acquiring skills to be as independent as possible and establish an environment that provides safety and skill enhancement. Evening and Weekend positions. Full-time and Part-time positions available in Glens Falls.
$18-$20 an hour based on education, experience and shift differential.
