The Recovery Specialist II provides direct and indirect care addressing the physical and psychological needs of members through individualized service plans, ensuring adherence to Medicaid standards. This role involves assisting with de-escalation as needed and delivering services within a behavioral wellness program focused on stabilization and recovery support.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma/GED with two years of psychiatric mental health experience, or a BA/BS with one year of mental health experience, alongside knowledge of basic nursing skills and mental/physical health terminologies. A current Washington Agency Affiliated Counselor certification or CNA equivalent is mandatory, along with a valid driver's license and willingness to use a personal vehicle.

The Recovery Specialist II provides care that addresses the physical and psychological needs of the members served. The Recovery Specialist II offers direct and indirect services through individualized service plans, adhering to Medicaid standards.
Depending on what shifts you are asked to work, shift differentials for hourly staff are 6% for the PM Shift and 10% for the Overnight Shift. Weekend Shift differentials for hourly staff (5% for Weekend AM Shift, 11% for Weekend PM Shift, 15% for Weekend Overnight Shift)
Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
At the Telecare Fern Lodge Behavioral Wellness program, we provide intensive mental health and psychiatric treatment services in a safe, welcoming environment for adults requiring continued time for stabilization and recovery support. We believe recovery starts from within and that our job is to do whatever it takes to provide the support needed on our residents' recovery journeys. Our secure facility features a staff of registered nurses, clinicians, peer specialists, and social workers on call 24 hours a day to provide comprehensive support.
