Position Summary

Physician-Owned gastroenterology practice in durango, colorado, is seeking a board-Certified or board-Eligible gastroenterologist. This role offers immediate procedural volume, no ramp period, strong earning potential, and a clear path to ownership in both the practice and a physician-Owned surgical hospital.

• The clinic has a 2-3 month backlog, with 3,000+ open-Access colonoscopy recalls.
• Join a team of 2 gastroenterologists and 3 experienced gi physician assistants.

Experienced physician track

Join with immediate clinical autonomy and no productivity micromanagement. Providers have the ability to tailor scope mix, clinic load, and schedule from day one, and have a near-Term path to equity.

Early-Career physician track

You’ll have a structured transition into full volume with experienced partner support. Benefit from a direct mentorship from a mayo clinic-Trained gastroenterologist and a 15+ year experienced gi physician assistant.

• Key responsibilities
• Provide outpatient gastroenterology care and endoscopic procedures
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of gi conditions
• Perform colonoscopy and upper endoscopy
• Collaborate with gi physician assistants, anesthesia, nursing, and endoscopy staff
• Participate in practice growth as desired
• No mandatory call coverage (Optional paid hospital call available)

Qualifications

• Md or do from an accredited institution
• Completion of gastroenterology fellowship
• Board-Certified or board-Eligible in gastroenterology
• Eligible for colorado medical licensure
• Strong communication skills and a team-Oriented mindset

• $450,000 guaranteed compensation in year 1 plus signing bonus

• Schedule & call
• Full-Time position with flexible scheduling
