The APP provides high-quality care for patients with acute and chronic pain through evaluations, treatment planning, and procedural support. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage follow-up care and improve patient functional outcomes in an outpatient setting.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program with current Texas licensure and national certification. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in pain management, orthopedics, or spine care.
The Pain Management Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) supports high-quality, efficient care for patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal, spine, and neurological pain conditions. Working collaboratively with pain management physicians, orthopedic and spine specialists, and the clinical care team, the APP performs patient evaluations, coordinates treatment plans, manages follow-up care, and supports interventional and noninterventional pain management services. This role plays a critical part in improving patient access, continuity of care, functional outcomes, and overall patient experience.
This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) in the outpatient setting.
