The Medical Scribe will accompany a physician during patient examinations to accurately transcribe the history, physical exam, and the physician's encounter details. This includes listing diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, prescriptions, and documenting all transcribed orders and procedures.
A strong command of medical terminology is mandatory for this role, along with the ability to recognize the physical exam process and accurately record its details. The scribe must document all aspects of the physician's encounter, including orders and procedures.
