The role involves conducting comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and managing ocular conditions including contact lenses, and providing necessary prescriptions and treatment plans. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate electronic patient records while delivering care to a varied patient base.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution and hold an active California Optometry License, with Medicaid credentialing being preferred. A minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical experience is required, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
