The Orthodontic Assistant will support orthodontists during all chairside procedures, including banding, bonding, and debonding, while also being responsible for taking accurate orthodontic records like digital X-rays and iTero scans. Key duties also involve maintaining instrument sterilization, educating patients on appliance care, and ensuring detailed patient records are kept using Denticon software.
Candidates must possess 1-2 years of orthodontic assisting experience and hold the required radiology certification, along with any state-mandated orthodontic assisting certification. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting, and excellent patient care skills are essential, with Spanish/English bilingualism being preferred.
