The Advanced Practice Provider delivers comprehensive primary care and emergent stabilization services across all age groups in various settings, practicing within the scope of Alaska licensure and clinical privileges.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national certification and an unrestricted Alaska license, capable of providing culturally responsive care in rural communities.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) provides comprehensive primary care and emergent stabilization services across the lifespan in outpatient, inpatient, and rural village settings. The APP practices within the scope of Alaska licensure and granted clinical privileges and collaborates with supervising physicians to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive care in accordance with BBAHC Medical Staff Bylaws, HRSA Section 330 requirements (as applicable), Rural Health Clinic (RHC) regulations, CMS Conditions of Participation (as applicable), accreditation standards, and Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) requirements.
1. Graduate degree in nursing (MSN or DNP). 2. Population-appropriate national certification.
1. Graduate of ARC-PA program. 2. Current NCCPA certification.
Schedule flexibility and on-call responsibilities may be required. Some weekend or evening hours are necessary in emergency situations.
