The Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist is responsible for providing professional quality patient care during neurodiagnostic testing. Primary accountabilities include demonstrating knowledge and competence in various neurodiagnostic testing applications such as EEG, vEEG, cEEG, and EMU monitoring.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, and current neurodiagnostic certification (R. EEG T., R.NCS.T, CNCT, R. EP T., CLTM, CMEG, CNIM preferred) or the ability to obtain certification within two years. A minimum of one year of related experience or completion of a Neurodiagnostic Technologist program internship is required, along with current Basic Life Support certification.
