The Occupational Therapist will provide professional services to clients following the physician's prescribed plan of care, prioritizing visit content based on client capabilities and physician orders. Responsibilities include accurately assessing clients, developing assessment-based plans of treatment with attainable goals, and coordinating care with other disciplines.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum and eligible for NBCOT registration, with actual registration required to practice in the state. A minimum of one year of experience or a preceptorship of 6-8 weeks is mandatory, along with a current driver's license and reliable transportation.
Licensed Occupational Therapist in the State of Michigan Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience Graduate of an occupational therapy curriculum Will consider New Graduates Must be able to function in an environment with minimal direct supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining professional relationships with the agency’s clients and their families Must accept responsibility for maintaining clinical practice skills, learning and adhering to agency’s policies and procedures on an on-going basis. Home healthcare experience preferred. Must have a current Driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work site.
